    We bring the jazz experience directly to communities through programs presented in venues throughout Chicago. 99% of our programs are free and open to the public. Our programs keep Chicago jazz musicians working by creating a wide array of performance opportunities, build bigger audiences for Chicago jazz by presenting concerts and festivals that are free and available for all and keep our community thriving.

Chicago Jazz Festival
 Known for its artistic creativity, the Chicago Jazz Festival is a favorite Labor Day Weekend tradition.
New Works Fresh Voices
 The Jazz Institute of Chicago presents The New Works. Fresh Voices Commission Project. Applications open through June 22!
JazzCity
 Designed to connect people of all ethnicities and generations to the legacy of jazz in Chicago, this annual concert series is presented free of charge and right in neighborhoods throughout Chicago.

 On hiatus for 2019 in support of the expanded Chicago Jazz Festival.

 NextGenJazz provides a great opportunity for the Jazz Institute to connect new audiences to emerging artists.
